Privacy Policy

In short: I collect as little data as possible, sell nothing and don't track you. Below you'll find which personal data is processed when you visit fifidesign.ch, what I use it for and what rights you have.

This privacy policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, the rights it provides apply as well.

2. Visiting the website and hosting

This website is hosted by Webflow, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) and delivered via its content delivery network. When you open a page, technically necessary data is processed automatically, for example your IP address, date and time of access, the page visited, browser type, operating system and the previously visited page (referrer). I need this data so the website runs reliably, securely and quickly. I do not analyse it to identify you personally.

3. Contact by email

If you write to info@fifidesign.ch, I process your details (e.g. name, email address and the content of your message) to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quote or carry out a project. Your details stay with me and are not passed on to third parties for advertising.

4. Booking appointments via Calendly

For intro calls I link to Calendly, a service of Calendly LLC (USA). When you click the corresponding button, you are taken to Calendly, where you enter your details (e.g. name, email address and preferred time) directly. I only use this information to prepare and hold the meeting. Calendly's own privacy policy also applies to the processing on its platform.

5. Fonts

To display fonts, this website may load font files from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd. or Google LLC, USA). For technical reasons, your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. The fonts serve only to ensure a consistent and readable display.

6. Links to other websites

This website contains links to LinkedIn and to client websites. These are simple links, not embedded plugins. No data is transferred until you click a link. From then on, the privacy policy of the respective website applies.

7. Cookies and tracking

I do not use any analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website. At most, technically necessary cookies are used, without which the website would not work properly. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.

8. Disclosure abroad

Some of the service providers mentioned (Webflow, Calendly, Google) are based in the USA or process data there. Data is only transferred abroad if adequate data protection is ensured, for example through certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

9. Retention

I keep personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. for business correspondence and accounting). After that, it is deleted or anonymised.

10. Your rights

You can ask me at any time which data I process about you. You can also request that your data be corrected, deleted or handed over to you, and object to its processing. Simply write to info@fifidesign.ch. If you believe I am not processing your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

11. Data security

This website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS. I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

12. Changes

I update this privacy policy when my website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
